Books about a wizard school?

Maybe you would like the Ranger's Apprentice series. They're easy reads, nowhere near as complicated or advanced as something like Lord of the Rings. Try not to get too hung up over not finding a fantasy series as satisfying as Harry Potter. It might be impossible if you really love HP!
