Hmmmm enough with the boy troubble?

so over the past couple of years guys have messed me around loads, the thing that comes with being pretty is that you naturally attract jerks and players and now there is this new guy in the picture for me. hes quiet Innocent and shy and would never ever hurt me and my Friends think that it would be good for me to date a guy who is nice so i could realize i can do better than 'jerk'. the only thing is, is that he is going to portsmouth at the end of summer (1 month away) and although he will come back he will be away for about 6 weeks at a time. is it silly to get involved with a guy who's is leaving or will it be good for me to learn what it feels like to be Truly loved and even when he is gone it will give me a reason to stay away from popular jerks. let me know wat you think, (sorry about the bad spelling/grammar)
