Writing percents as a common fractions/mixed numbers?

You got the first step right, but since it is a percentage, then denominator should should be set at 100, and you can't have 1267/3 over 100. So you multiply both sides by 3 to cancel out that fraction. 1267/3 x 3 = 1267. 100 x 3 = 300. so you get 1267/300
