Where does air (that replaces water in bottled water) enter in to replace the exiting water?

Don't they sometimes bubble up even if no one is filling a gl? If so, I'd say both suggestions are correct. Too bad we can't SEE the air molecules as they move and aculate and then force their way through the water. Cool thing to think about. Bored?
